Gudauri Ski Resort has a small but lively bar scene that is more than well equipped to ensure your thirst is quenched after an epic day on the slopes! Don’t expect something along the lines of a Whistler or St Anton but what Gudauri lacks in a large number of drinking establishments it makes up for in atmosphere, incredible views and well versed bartenders who can make phenomenal cocktails. Most of the bars and restaurants are centred around New Gudauri which as the name suggests is the newer part of the mountain and has the most modern hotels, lodgings and restaurants.
Gradus
Located between the 1st and 2nd lifts. Gradus is a magic little spot where you can sit on their beanbags out on the terrace and sip cocktails amongst the spectacular views on offer. They also offer a good selection of both Georgian and European cuisine and a nice selection of beers.
Khizhyna
Khizhyna is a funky yet casual little mountain hut situated at 2,700 metres where guests can dine and drink amongst spectacular views over the mountains. Enjoying an apre drink at night here is a truly magical experience that can’t be missed.
Powder Bar
This lively bar has fantastic cocktails with possibly the best bartenders on the mountain. Great apre atmosphere and nice music to chill out and unwind to. Tasty burgers as well and a great beer selection!
For those looking for more of a nightclub scene on the mountain Carpe Diem Hotel offers a dance floor and great atmosphere if you want to dance all night long and possibly find love on the mountain. Marco Polo Hotel also offers a nightclub experience, although mostly reserved for weekends only, however when it’s ‘on’ it is one of the best places we have ever found to bust a move, let your hair down and soak up all Gudauri has to offer!
Remember to keep hydrated to avoid hangovers for fresh tracks the next morning!!
